Description	Nationales Projekt Elbe (Elbe III) The focus of the Elbe project shifted in the period from 1991 to the present time from point sources of pollution to habitat research, pollution incidents, etc. (en) Der Schwerpunkt des Projektes Elbe verlagerte sich von 1991 zur Gegenwart schrittweise von Punktquellen und die klassische Verunreinigung ueber ein zweckdienliches Monitoring frueher nicht untersuchter Wassergueteparameter bis zu einer komplexeren Auswertung des Oekosystems, d.h. hin zur Beobachtung des Habitats,zur Erforschung der Zusammengaenge zwischen der Wasserbewegung und Umweltschadstoffen sowie zur Erforschung der Verunreinigung durch Havarien.
