Description	Micropropagation technology was utilized for reproduction of endangered and valuable populations of crab apple (Malus sylvestris Mill). In the Czech Republic, the composition of mentioned species has the character of residual populations with individual or group occurrence in forest stands, or with the occurrence in the non-forest areas. Procedures for regeneration from explants up to plantlets were standardized. The organogenesis, i.e. the induction in the most cases of axillary or adventitive shoots on the primary explants, proved the most cases of axillary or adventitive shoots on the primary explants, proved the most advantageous technology for clonal propagation of crab apple. These shoots (microcuttings) were used for induction of rhizogenesis, and then the plantlets were acclimatized and cultured up to plants capable of outplanting. Keeping of technological criteria of explant culturing and complete plant regenerating determines morphological quality of in vitro produced planting stock. (en) Výsledek sleduje podporu biodiverzity lesních ekosystémů pomocí efektivní reprodukce klonů vtroušeně rostoucího druhu jabloně lesní s charakteristickými morfologickými znaky. Metodika mikropropagace jabloně lesní popisuje ověřený postup reprodukce i zachování cenných klonů a populací. Výsledek sleduje podporu biodiverzity lesních ekosystémů pomocí efektivní reprodukce klonů vtroušeně rostoucího druhu jabloně lesní s charakteristickými morfologickými znaky. Metodika mikropropagace jabloně lesní popisuje ověřený postup reprodukce i zachování cenných klonů a populací. (cs)
