Description
  • The paper deals with the assessment of variability of daily air temperature in relation to the topographic parameters over field-scale with market root vegetable crops growing under cover. The synchronic measurements of sensors on contrasting aspects were taken during 48 days (vegetable growth period of spring radish) with 1 hours time intervals. The digital elevation map of the crop field was developed at 10 x 10 m resolution by Kriging interpolation which based on elevation data collected in the field by GPS. The regression estimate of the effect of slope on diurnal range of temperature was more pronounced than that of the elevation.
