Description	Examples of measurements are used to illustrate current state in noisiness of propeller aircraft and the potentials in advanced measuring and analytical methods at aircraft noise abatement. Some of the ICAO noise certification procedures which apply to propeller airplanes are commented at the end of this paper. Solutions for quieter propeller aircraft are then reconsidered very briefly in the conclusions.
