Description	The article describes the design of the crashworthypassenger seat intended for normal category aircraft according to the FAR 23 Regulation. The seat test specimens passed a complete static, dynamic and fatigue-life tests required in the mentioned document. The method of mathematical simulation of the seat-occupant system was performed, makes the system behaviour observation and stress analysis of the seat structure in the dynamic load mode possible. the work was performed in frame of the research and development relief program managed by the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade. (en) Článek pojednává o návrhu havarijním podmínkám vyhovujícího sedadla cestujícího určeného pro letouny kategorie normální podle předpisu FAR 23. Zkušební vzorky sedadla byly podrobeny úplným statickým, dynamickým a únavovým zkouškám vyžadovaným v uvedeném předpisu. Byla vypracována metodika metematického modelování soustavy sedadlo-sedící osoba umožňující analyzovat chování této soustavy a provádět pevnostní analýzu konstrukce sedadla v režimu dynamického zatížení. Tyto práce byly provedeny v rámci programu podpory výzkumu a vývoje řízeného MPO ČR. (cs)
