  • TESTCOM has measured attenuation due to hydrometeors (rain, hail, fog, snow) at 19 GHz on V polarisation on one path, at 38 GHz on V polarisation on two paths. The obtained records of received signal level on the above mentioned paths as well as rain intensities were processed statistically and cumulative distributions of attenuation due to hydrometeors were obtained. These distributions were compared with the distributions calculated in accordance with ITU-R Recommendations, and differences were discussed.

  • TESTCOM provádí měření útlumů způsobených hydrometeory (déšť, kroupy, mlha, sníh) v kmitočtovém pásmu 19 GHz na V polarizaci na jednom skoku a v kmitočtovém pásmu 38 GHz na V polarizaci na dvou skocích. Získané záznamy úrovně přijímaného signálu získané na těchto skocích a intenzit dešťů byly statisticky zpracovány a kumulativní distribuce úniků způsobených hydrometeory byly získány. Tyto distribuce byly porovnány s distribucemi vypočtenými podle doporučení ITU-R a rozdíly byly diskutovány. (cs)
