| - The main question this contribution seeks to answer is how to define and delimit the terms Managerial Competence and Managerial Tacit Knowledge as well as to attempt to discover the relationship(s) between these two terms. On conclusion of our studies of the current state of knowledge and observations relating to these problems and issues, we have come to the conclusion that these two terms are very closely interlinked and related (i.e. coherence). However, there was no mention in the literature of this coherence, and this is what we are endeavouring to correct through the intermediary of this contribution. The contribution will also be oriented on the ways and means of developing Managerial Competence as well as the problems and issues relating to the transference (i.e. passing on) of Tacit Knowledge.

- Hlavní otázkou tohoto příspěvku je vymezit pojmy způsobilost manažera a tacitní znalosti manažera a pokusit se najít vztah mezi těmito pojmy. Po prostudování současného stavu poznání v této problematice se domníváme, že tyto pojmy spolu velmi úzce souvisí. Na tuto souvislost však v literatuře nebylo poukázáno, což se snažíme napravit tímto příspěvkem. Příspěvek bude také zaměřen na způsoby rozvoje manažerských způsobilostí a problematiku předávání tacitních znalostí. Potřebu a zároveň i přínos řešení toto tématu vidíme ve zkvalitnění odborné přípravy budoucích manažerů pro výkon jejich profese. Rozvíjet manažerské způsobilosti a předávat druhým své tacitní znalosti je velmi obtížné. Pokud však přijdeme s novými poznatky v této oblasti, projeví se výsledky v samotném výkonu práce jednotlivých manažerů. To může dále vést ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti jednotlivých organizací.
