  • The paper deals with loosening and migration of cementless acetabular cups into the pelvis that belongs to the most serious therapeutic complications arising sometimes several months to years after operation. The aseptic loosening of the cup is mainly influenced by two mechanical factors: ultrahigh molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene wear and initial cancellous bone stresses. The geometry of the acetabular cups was designed directly in ANSYS and imported to the database file containing the geometry of the pelvic bone generated from the CT scans. Research was concentrated on the analysis of contact stresses and strains

  • Článek se zabývá uvolňováním a následnou migrací necementované acetabulární komponenty do pánevního dna, která patří k nejzávažnějším terapeutickým komplikacím vznikajícím během několika měsíců či let po implantaci. Aseptická migrace je ovlivněna zejména dvěmi mechanickými faktory: otěrem vysokomelekulárního polyethylenu (UHMWPE) a iniciací kontaktního napětí.Výpočet napjatosti byl proveden pomocí 3-D modelu pánevní kosti a různých typů acetabulárních jamek (cs)
