| - The study species Atriplex tatarica displayed moderate levels of genetic diversity in comparison with other herbaceous plants. While northern populations of A. tatarica showed significantly lower allelic richness than populations from the southern part of the study area, they did not differ in observed heterozygosity, gene diversity, inbreeding within populations or population differentiation, despite generally lower values of particular genetic measurements in the marginal region. This, therefore, provides only weak support for the predictions of the Central–Marginal Model.

- Druh Atriplex tatarica vykazuje střední hodnoty genetické variability při srovnání s ostatními druhy rostlin. Zatímco populace ze severní, okrajové části areálu mají nižší alelovou bohatost než populace z jižní (centrální) části, neliší se v pozorované heterozygotnosti, genetické diverzitě, inbreedingu v rámci populací nebo populační diferenciaci, přestože jsou tyto hodnoty obecně nižší v okrajových částech areálu. Získané výsledky nepodporují predikce Central-Marginal modelu. (cs)
