| - The study here presented is devoted to the problematics of the relationship between the Heath-Carter anthropometric somatotype and the motoric performance capabilities of boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 15 who do not participate in any sport. The main purpose of the research was to find out and verify what influence the anthropometric somatotype of girls and boys has on their performance capability and to evaluate the relationship between the Heath-Carter somatotype on the one hand and motoric performance capability on the other hand. The research results presented here represent an effort to answer the question of whether or not, on the strength of the one-time establishment of an somatotype in the case of children who do no sports in the periods of their earlier and later school ages, it is possible to determine the level of their motoric capabilities on the basis of their subsequent classification into a typological system expressed by the somatotype categories of A, B, C, D and E (en)
- Studie je věnována problematice vztahu antropometrického somatotypu Heath-Carter a motorické výkonnosti nesportujících chlapců a dívek ve věku 7 až 15 let. Hlavním cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit a ověřit, jaký vliv na motorickou výkonnost má antropometrický somatotyp chlapců a dívek a posoudit vztah mezi somatotypem Heath-Carter na jedné straně a motorickou výkonností na straně druhé. Pre-zentované výsledky výzkumu se snaží odpovědět na otázku, zda na základě jednorázového stanovení antropometrického somatotypu u nesportujících dětí v období mladšího a staršího školního věku lze určit úroveň motorických schopností na podkladě jejich následného zařa-zení do typologického systému vyjádřeného kategoriemi somatotypů A, B, C, D a E
