  • The study of composition and microstructure of welded joints was performed before and after the diffusion annealing at elevated temperatures for different annealing time. The Kirkendall effect in the Ni/Ni3Al diffusion couples was observed by means of different methods, e.g. using light, scanning electron and atomic force microscopies. The study suitably completes and specifies the morphology features of Kirkendall voids at different evolution stages, i.e. at nucleation, growing and coalescence. Kirkendall voids occurred in the region between the Matano and g/g´interface planes. The location of the g/g´interface that moved in the direction of Ni3Al phase during the annealing resulted from the Al -concentration profile measured by EDAX. The Matano plane location was determined by means of Boltzmann-Matano?s method using concentration profile data. It was observed that the void size was increasing in the direction from the Matano plane to the g/g´ interface. The obtained results were completed by surfac

  • Bylo provedeno studium chemického složení a mikrostruktury svarových spojů před a po difuzním žíhání při zvýšených teplotách pro různou žíhací dobu. Byl pozorován Kirkendallův jev v difuzních spojích N/Ni3Al prostřednictvím různých metod, např. za použití světlých, skenovacích elektronových mikroskopů a metodou AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy). Studium vhodně doplňuje a specifikuje charakter morfologie Kirkendallových pórů v různém stupni vývoje, tj. při jejich nukleaci, růstu a koalescenci. Kirkendallovy póry se vyskytovaly v oblasti mezi Matano rovinou a g/g´mezifázovou hranicí. Poloha g/g´ rozhraní se během žíhání pohybovala ve směru fáze Ni3Al, jak vyplynulo z koncentračních profilů změřených pomocí EDAX. Poloha Matano roviny byla určena pomocí Matano - Boltzmannovy metody za použití změřeného koncentračního profilu Al a Ni. Bylo pozorováno , že velikost pórů se zvětšovala v směru od Matano roviny k rozhraní g/g´. Získané výsledky byly doplněny povrchovou topografií Kirkendallových pórů mírně na (cs)
