| - Kniha představuje komplexní zpracování původních výsledků výzkumu autora získaných v letech 1954-2005 v České republice. Informativní kapitoly jsou směrovány na biologii parazitoidů, historii výzkumu, metody sběru a práce s materiálem. Klíčovou kapitolou je abecedně řazený přehled rodů a druhů parasitoidů. Jednotlivé sběry jsou seřazeny podle faunistických čtverců a přinášejí údaje o hostitelské mšici, lokalitě, datu, hostitelské rostlině a biotopu. Tyto údaje jsou rovněž zpracovány jako tritrofické databáze. Je uveden seznam laboratorních přenosů parazitoidů na různé hostitele, seznam exportovaných a introdukovaných druhů a analýza fauny. Seznam literatury je členěn dle tématiky kapitol. Kniha je úzce specializovaná, ale informace jsou využitelné v mnoha odvětvích od taxonomie, biologie, faunistiky, laboratorních a polních pokusů až po využití v biologické ochraně rostlin. (cs)
- The book represents a complex elaboration of original research results by the author obtained between 1954-2005 in the Czech Republic. Informative chapters cover the biology of parasitoids, history of research, methods of sampling and handling material. An alphabetically listed review of genera and species of parasitoids is the key point. The individual samples are arranged according to faunistic grids and they bring info on the host aphid, locality, date, host plant and habitat. This information is summarized as tritrophic databases (parasitoids, aphids, plants). Results of laboratory transfer trials of parasitoids, introduced and exported species are listed. Faunal analysis is presented. Ref. are grouped targeting the faunal griding, plants, aphids, and parasitoid. A taxonomic index of parasitoid species is given. The book is significantly specific, but the presented information is useful in aspects from taxonomy, biology, faunistic, laboratory, field trials up to biological control.
