Description	A text presents, that one of the first examples of a cultivation of a citrus trees north of the Alps could be found in Prague on the court of Ferdinand I of House of Habsburg. It oversees a culture of growing these luxurious goods in the King’s garden at a Prague castle throught the 16th century, where at first orangery with removable roof and later brick building was built. (en) Der Text weist nach, dass im Königlichen Garten in Prag unter dem Habsburger Ferdinand I. als einem der ersten Orte nördlich der Alpen Zitrusfrüchte gezüchtet wurden. Trotz der anspruchsvollen Züchtungsbedingungen bemühten sich die Habsburger darum, die Existenz dieser Luxusgüter in Prag zu sichern. Während des 16. Jahrhunderts entstanden hier mehrere Orangerien, von einer Konstruktion mit abnehmbarem Dach bis zur Errichtung eines Steinbaus.
