Description	Over the few recent years, business people have been experiencing minor or major fluctuations regarding the demand of potential clients for the services offered. The cause of this phenomenon can be often referred to the economic crisis and market fluctuations caused by volatile demand and time variance. The present article focuses on the responses of accommodation service providers in the Olomouc region to the crisis situation and the steps the owners took between 2007-2011 to ensure a better prosperity or, at least, the survival of their own business. The article focuses mainly on changes in service supply, as provided in hotels, campsites and hostels. Following up on a questionnaire survey, the paper aims to find out how much the service supply changed in the accommodation facilities throughout the Olomouc region between 2007-2011, which services were affected by a potential change and to what extent this was the factor of the occupancy rate.
