  • Der Beitrag fragt nach der Bedeutung des Konzepts der Grenze für die Frage nach der Beschreibbarkeit interkultureller Konstellationen - und exemplifiziert diese Fragen an den plurikulturellen Verhältnissen Prags und der böhmischen Länder vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Zuletzt diagnostiziert er, dass das Konzept der Grenze unzureichend ist und schlägt als anderes Grundkonzept interkuktureller Studien das Modell des Horizonts vor.
  • The paper examines the significance of the concept of border/boundary to the question of an adequate description of intercultural constellations - and exemplifies these questions by the pluricultural conditions of Prague and the Czech lands before the Second World War. Most recently, it diagnoses that the concept of border is insufficient and proposes as another basic concept of intercultural studies the model of horizon. (en)
