| - The project combines the static (structure) and dynamic (reactivity) approach aimed at characterization of novel compounds and selected reaction systems: synthesis of nanocrystalline materials, nanocomposites, metal oxides and glasses for applications in optoelectronics, magnetooptics and photocatalysis; investigation of general rules of intercalation and tailoring of materials with specific thermoelectric, optoelectric and energy-storage properties; synthesis and structure determination of novel clusters and organometallic compounds of the 13th group elements prospective for pharmaceutical industry and environmental applications; mechanism and long-range electron transfer in supramolecules along with radical formation in bioinorganic systems with potential applications in molecular recognition; kinetics of formation of crystalline phase from solutions and interaction of glass melts with solid and gaseous phase leading to novel preparative methods and intelligent process control. - Výzkumný záměr kombinuje statický (struktura) a kinetický (reaktivita) přístup s cílem charakterizovat nově připravené látky a vybrané reakční systémy: příprava nanokrystalických materiálů, nanokompozitů, kovových oxidů a skel se zaměřením na využití v optoelektronice, magnetooptice a fotokatalýze; výzkum zákonitostí interkalačních dějů a příprava materiálů s cílenými termoelektrickými, elektrooptickými a elektrokapacitními vlastnostmi; syntéza a struktura nových klastrových a organokovových sloučenin prvků 13 skupiny s perspektivou využití ve farmaceutickém průmyslu a v ekologii; objasnění přenosu elektronu a energie na dlouhou vzdálenost v supramolekulách spolu se vznikem radikálů v bioanorganických systémech s využitím ve fotomedicině a molekulárním rozpoznávání; popis kinetiky vzniku krystalické fáze z roztoku a vyšetření interakcí roztavených skelných látek s tuhou a plynnou fází s výsledky cílenými na nové způsoby přípravy a nové technologie.
