Description	The main goal is to research the reliability and durability of currently used and potentially available communication technologies and networks to support energy and other critical infrastructures against potential attacks, propose measures to increase the reliability and durability, choosing the most appropriate communication technologies to support next-generation networks, the comparison between the models and functional samples. On the basis of the created proposal for a new range of communication devices including the above features will be implemented prototypes designed and standardized networking solutions including methodological support. A major challenge for communication and information technology is protected by power lines and other components of energy system, optimizing the use of alternative energy sources, ensuring the equal balance and stability of the power system, providing islanding and emergency mode power supplies, support for dispatching management, control and automation systems, protection against intrusion and attacks on energy the system. The research and development activities incurred materials for mass production of communications network equipment designed specifically conditions for energy networks in the country. This will be filled with the aim of increasing the security of critical infrastructure power distribution. (en) Hlavním cílem je výzkum spolehlivosti a odolnosti současně používaných a potenciálně možných komunikačních technologií a sítí pro podporu energetiky a dalších kritických infrastruktur před potenciálními útoky, návrh opatření pro zvýšení spolehlivosti a odolnosti, výběr nejvhodnějšíchtechnologií pro podpůrné komunikační sítě nové generace, jejich vzájemné porovnání na modelech a funkčních vzorcích. Na základě toho vznikne návrh nové řady komunikačních zařízení zahrnující výše uvedené znaky, budou realizovány prototypy a navržena typizovaná síťová řešení včetně metodické podpory. Zásadními úkoly pro komunikační a informační technologie je chránění silových vedení a dalších komponent energetické soustavy, optimalizace využití alternativních zdrojů, zajištění vyrovnané bilance a stability energetické soustavy, zajištění ostrovní ho provozu a nouzových režimů dodávky energie, podpora dispečerského řízení, regulace a automatizace soustav, ochrana proti narušení a útokům na energetickou soustavu. Z výzkumné a vývojové činnosti vzniknou podklady pro sériovou výrobu komunikačních síťových zařízení určených speciálně pro podmínky energetických sítí v ČR. Tím bude naplněn cíl pro zvyšující bezpečnost kritické infrastruktury rozvodu elektrické energie.
