Description	The potential of biomass will be analysed using methodology for evaluation of potential of forest and agricultural lands with utilisation of GIS with regard to food security scenarios of the Czech Republic. Biomass potential will include also areas managed by forests enterprise of the Ministry of defence. Optimalized logistic centres, routes and utilisation points (power and heating plants) will be suggested based on analysis of the critical situations planes and technological possibilities of energy companies. Possibilities will be evaluated of biomass utilisation in selected power and heating plants in critical situations caused by scarcity of fossil fuels including economic analyses of biomass extraction and utilisation. (en) Potenciál biomasy bude identifikován pomocí metodiky hodnocení produkčního potenciálu lesních a zemědělských půd s využitím GIS s ohledem na scénáře potravinové bezpečnosti ČR. Do potenciálu biomasy je zahrnut i potenciál z území obhospodařovaných vojenskými lesy. Na základě krizových plánu a technických možností energetických zdrojů budou navrženy optimální logistické body a trasy a vyhodnoceny možnosti využití biomasy ve vybraných elektrárenských a teplárenských zdrojích v krizových situacích nedostatku fosilních paliv, a ekonomických aspektů získávání a užití biomasy.

Beyond the outlined results, a series of specialized maps, articles in professional periodicals and articles in proceedings were met. All results are directly linked to the objectives of the project and were created during the project. The funds were used according to the established plan. (en)
