Aim of this project is to optimize and verify protocol for cryoconservation of grapevine genetic resources. Research will be based on study of two important characteristic for cryopreservation: freezing tolerance and dehydration tolerance. Cultivars of different origin that differ in their sensitivity to frost and drought will be selected. Different ways of cold hardening and acclimations to dehydration will be tested. (en)
