The project will deal with the selection of pheasants for the improvement of growth intensity to product venison of high dietetic quality which can extend the offer of foods. The study will also compile appropriate diets respecting physiological requirements of pheasants and their health with respect to production of biologically valuable and hygienically safe venison. The aim of the project will also design suitable housing systems for breeding flock and fattened pheasant poults. (en)
