This project is focused on innovation of growing strategies under agricultural practices and climatic conditions in Czech Republic. The aim is to obtain high-quality and safety raw material intended for production of fruit-based baby food, complying to requirements Commission Directive 1999/50/EC laying down uniform maximum residue limit (0.01 mg/kg) for all pesticides, this limit is also valid in Czech Republic (regulation No. 322/1999 Sb.). Quality of crops will be assessed mainly with regard to pesticide residues left in apples and apricots treated with various regimes. The experimental plan will be refined on the basis of pilot study employing pesticide preparations assumed to leave minimum of residues at the time of harvest and father declining during storage. The dynamics of pesticides applied in multiple treatments will be monitored and effects of adjutants and fertilizers on degradation of pesticides will be evaluated.
