Description	The duration of the project is planned for three years. The expected results include: 1/ the use of published molecular markers combined with the search for new biomarkers and resistance genes in order to select new barley genotypes with combined resistance to BYDV and Barley yellow mosaic viruses and a sufficiently high level of winter hardiness 2/ the use of new methods of genomics and proteomics for selection of desirable genotypes 3/ the use of the principles of MAS (marker-assisted selection) in winter barley breeding programmes 4/ to continue in previous breeding programmes on prospective barley genotypes 5/ to prepare at least two new winter barley lines with combined resistance to virus diseases exhibiting a sufficiently high level of winter hardiness. (en) Využití současných přístupů a nástrojů i nově vyvíjených a ověřovaných metod molekulární genomiky a proteomiky při výběru a tvorbě rostlinných materiálů s kombinovanou rezistencí vůči virózám a mrazu k zajišťění výnosové stability ozimého ječmene.
