Newly produced energy from biomass should offer higher use value. This requirement can be provided by power energy or fuel for transport means running. Some European companies are associated in the biogas treatment, increasing of its energy potential, cleaning, CO2 separation from methane. Treatment and cleaning is based on the biogas washing in water principle or in some different liquids, active coal or on the molecular sieve. In connection with that treatment it is necessary to install the CNG filling station. This system is costly and from operational point of view above the capacity above 150 m3/h of raw biogas (about 1,300,000 – 1,500,000 m3 p.a.) is suitable. Investments range over 20mil. CZK plus CNG station price. Therefore for small-scale biogas plants that system is economically unsuitable.
