The protection and preservation of biodiversity are the important duty of world significance in agriculture. The aim of proposed project is to characterize a present variability of apple (Malus x domestica) genetic resources by molecular genetic methods: SSR and markers of resistance. These methods allow to find genetic similarities, to eliminate duplications, to map resistance sources and to provide a collection with the largest range of variability and minimum of preserved entries. The results of project allow effectively utilizing of financial resources for preservation of genetic resources and this characterized collection of genetic resources can be used for breeding and in following research projects in the future. Charakterizovat stávající genetické zdroje jabloní pomocí molekulárně genetických metod SSR a markerů rezistence s cílem nalézt genetické příbuznosti, eliminovat duplikace a uchovat širokou biodiversitu s minimem uchovávaných položek.
Řešení projektu probíhalo zcela v souladu s metodikou a plánem aktivit projektu, po celou dobu řešení nedošlo k odchylkám, které by mohly průběh řešení či dosahované výsledky negativně ovlivnit. (cs)
