Description
  • The aim of our research work is verified level of stone fruit’s field resistance or susceptibility to bacteria Pseudomonas sp. (Pseudomonas syringe pv. syringe, Pseudomonas syringe pv. morsprunorum) according the aims of COST Action 873 “Bacterial diseases of stone fruits and nuts”. Tests will be carried out in Research station of Crop Research Institute in Slany. Stone fruit rootstocks (in common use in Czech republic for grafting) will be tested for field resistance by artificial inoculations. Virulent bacteria will be inoculated by species Pseudomonas (virulent strains from Collection of bacteria of Department of bacteriology of Crop Research Institute in Prague and virulent strains of Pseudomonas, which will be obtained from isolation of infectious plants. Two methods of inoculation will be used as follows: 1) decapitation the shoot tops by scissors dipped in the bacterial suspension (107 cfu/ml) 2) prinking bacterial suspension (107 cfu/ml) into shoots (one bacterial strain into three shoots p (en)

  • Project work was done according time plan and selected methods. The 508 samples of plant parts with symptoms and without symptoms of bacterial diseases were elaborated.
