Description
  • Cílem projektu je popis koloběhu uhlíku ve smrkových porostech s různou intenzitou obhospodařování. To přispěje ke zlepšení lesnického managementu ve smyslu podpory adaptačních opatření v lesních porostech při očekávané klimatické změně.
  • Forest stands are an important part of global biosphere and they are final stage of mane terrestric ecosystems. Spruce stands have considerable task in European forestry because of they occupy large area mainly in the Central and Northern Europe. The vitality and stability of forest stands is strongly dependent on their production activity which forms the basic complex of physiological processes resulting in production of new biomass and maintenance of the old one. Suitable silvicultural arrangements can influence production activity. Atmospheric carbon is bio-transformated in the new biomass formation thus production activity is a task for the %22long-term deponium%22 of atmospheric carbon. This ability of forest stands is very important due to global climate change proceeding. Observation of carbon cycle within the Norway spruce stand in highlands area under different way of silvicure practices is the aim of proposed project. (en)

  • Na výzkumné ploše Rájec (Drahanská vrchovina) byly odhadnuty zásoby uhlíku v nadzemním i podzemním prostředí dvou mladých smrkových porostů s různými variantami pěstební výchovy a bylo potvrzeno, že různá pěstební opatření mají vliv na ukládání uhlíku. Byly získány alometrické vztahy pro vývoj nadzemní biomasy vrchovinného smrkového porostu na základě měření výčetní tloušťky kmene. (cs)
  • Carbon stock was assessed in above- and belowground of two young spruce stands with different silviculture tools at the study site of Rájec (the Drahanská vrchovina Highland) and there was confirmed that different silviculture tools influence carbon sequestration. Allometric relationship for the aboveground biomass estimation in highland spruce stand were determined. (en)
