Description
  • The proposed research project is in accordance with the long-term scientific tradition of the investigation of developmental aspects of learning and memory at the Department of Pathophysiology, Charles University, Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen. The aim of this project is to study a possible negative effect of both acute and chronic exposure to HF EMF (corresponding to 900 MHz cellular phones spectrum) on normal and partly neurodefective brain. The study involves a complex investigation (cognitive-behavioral, electro-physiological, histochemical and immunohistochemical) of brain functions in Lurcher mutant mice, which represent an excellent model of neurodegeneration, while their healthy littermates serve as ideal controls.   • Projektem chceme dosáhnout uspokojivé a komplexní odpovědi na otázku, zda vysokofrekvenční elektromagnetické pole o frekvenci adekvátní mobilním telefonům ovlivňuje mozkové funkce, a to jak po krátkodobém, tak dlouhodobém (opakovaném) působení.

  • Animal model of neurodegeneration was used for the study of influence of high-frequency electromagnetic field (HF EMF) on some brain functions.Using behavioral, electrophysiological and functional-morphological methods HF EMF effect was described. In case of behavioral investigation insignificantly, in case of brain electrical activity, free radicals production and c-fos expression significantly. (en)
  • Animální model neurodegenerace byl použit ke sledování vlivu vysokofrekvenčního elektromagnetického pole (VF EMP) na některé funkce mozku. Metodami behaviorálními, elektrofyziologickými a funkčně-morfologickými byl tento vliv popsán, někdy stisticky nevýznamně (v případě behaviorálních metod), jindy statisticky významně (elektrická aktivita mozkové kůry, produkce volných radikálů, exprese c-fos).
