Description
  • Synthesis of polysilylenes with various pendant groups and the study of charge carrier photogeneration, transport and trapping. Study of the electronic structure by thermostimulated luminescence and the polaron recombination by electroluminescence. Quantum chemical modelling of molecular and electronic structure. Phthalocyanines will be used for the model studies of the photoconductivity and photovoltaic effect. An attempt will be done for the preparation of infrared sensitive molecular photodetectors and their possible use in photorefractive memories. Photochromic properties of spiropyranes aand dihydropyridines will be studied by optical methods, thermostimulated absorption, and thermal analysis. Their possible influence on the charge carrier transport during the photochromic cycle in polymer matrix will be treated taking into account electron-dipole interactions. (en)
