Description	The subject of research is the analysis of genetic determination of cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Monitored will be the genes/markers (FTO, KIF6, MRAS and markers on chromosomes 2, 3 and 9) that were connected with CVD in pilot studies, despite the fact that they do not have any relation to classic risk factors and the mechanism of influence on CVD development is unknown. Analyzed will be approximately 1000 CVD patients without classic risk factors (dyslipidaemia, hypertension, smoking, obesity and diabetes) and the same number of selected controls without CVD, but with the presence of these risk factors. Compared will be not only individual variants, but also their interactions (additive or multiplicative effect), possible interactions with environmental factors (BMI, smoking). The identification of these genetic predispositions will enable timely finding of seemingly healthy but in reality risk individuals so far escaping identification by common schemes for risk estimate. (en) Předmětem výzkumu je analýza genetické determinace kardiovaskulárních onemocnění (KVO). Sledovány budou geny/markery (FTO, KIF6, MRAS a markery na chromozómech 2, 3 a 9), které byly v pilotních studiích spojeny s KVO, ačkoli nemají vztah ke klasickým rizikovým faktorům a mechanismus působení na rozvoj KVO je neznámý. Analyzováno bude přibližně 1000 pacientů s KVO bez klasických rizikových faktorů (dyslipidémie, hypertenze, kouření, obezita a diabetes) a stejný počet selektovaných kontrol bez KVO, ale s přítomností těchto rizikových faktorů. Budou porovnány nejen individuální varianty, ale i jejich interakce (aditivní, multi efekt), případné interakce s vnějším prostředím (BMI, kouření). Identifikace těchto genetických predispozic umožní včasné vyhledávání zdánlivě zdravých ale ve skutečnosti rizikových jedinců dosud unikajících identifikaci běžnými schématy k odhadu rizika.
