Description	Presence of a congenital balanced translocation in the karyotype is a common cause of subfertility. The reduction in fertility, the risk of abortion and birth of an affected child depends on the type of translocation. Statistical evaluation of associations between frequencies of chromosomally abnormal gametes resulting from meiotic segregation of translocated chromosomes and their normal homologues, and interchromosomal effect of translocations detected by the FISH method and semen parameters of translocation carriers detected both by standard spermatological techniques and the SCSA method will be performed within the project. The obtained data will serve as a basis for genetic consulting and selection of a particular AR method (ICSI, preimplantational genetic diagnosis-PGD, donor semen). (en) Přítomnost vrozené balancované translokace v karyotypu je častou příčinou subfertility. Míra omezení reprodukce, riziko abortu a narození postiženého dítěte závisí na typu translokace. V projektu bude statisticky hodnocen vztah mezi frekvencemi chromozomálně abnormálních gamet vzniklých jako důsledek meiotické segregace translokovaných chromozomů a jejich normálních homologů i interchromozomálního vlivu translokací zjištěnými metodou FISH a parametry semene nositelů translokací stanovenými jak standardními spermatologickými technikami, tak metodou SCSA. Zjištěná data se stanou podkladem pro genetické konzultace a rozhodování při volbě konkrétních metod AR (ICSI, preimplantační genetická diagnostika-PGD, semeno dárce).
