  • The project is aimed at the study of molecular mechanisms underlying apoptosome pathway dysfunction in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) cells and tissues, with using the methods of derepression of apoptosome apparatus activation and activity and by means of the methods analyzing the expression of inactivatable phosphorylated procaspase-9 forms and the expression of apoptosome pathway regulators such as PHAPI/pp32, APIP, and nucling/UACA.   • V projektu budou studovány molekulární podklady poruchy aktivace apoptosomové dráhy v buněčných liniích a tkáních nemalobuněčného karcinomu plic (NSCLC) s použitím metod dereprese aktivace a aktivity apoptosomového aparátu a s pomocí metod analyzujících expresi neaktivovatelných forem fosforylované prokaspasy-9 a expresi regulátorů apoptosomové dráhy, APIPu, PHAPuI/pp32 a nuklingu/UACA.

  • The apoptosome apparatus is more frequently activated in the cytosol from NSCLCs than the lungs.The expression of XIAP,APIP, in NSCLCs does not correlate with AA activation. AA dysfuntion in NSCLC cells is due to a defect of procaspase-9 activativation. (en)
