  • The expression of genes that respond to dietary cholesterol and those responsible for development of hypercholesterolemia will be studied in experimental model of diet induced hypercholesterolemia - Prague hereditary hypercholesterolemic (PHHC) rat. The mechanism of increase in cholesterol concentration in VLDL, IDL, and LDL after dietary cholesterol load will be studied in experimental model of diet induced hypercholesterolemia - Prague hereditary hypercholesterolemic (PHHC) rat.
