Description
  • Selection of ligninolytic fungal strains applicable in the disc reactor with immobilized fungal biomass will be made. Biodegradation rates of selected dyes in the disc reactor with various types of support material will be compared with those in agitated and nonagitated fungal cultures. The synthesis of extracellular and mycelium-associated enzyme activities involved in dye biodegradation will be investigated and the production of isoenzymes will be analyzed. Parameters of the biodegradation process in the disc reactor will be optimized. (en)
