Description
  • The goal of this project is to demonstrate and to explain the function of nuclear export sequences in tubulin molecules in eukaryotic cells. Possible specific or conserved functions of nuclear export sequences in plant and animal tubulins will be studied. Further, the role of nuclear export of plant tubulin in growth end development of plant organism will be studied. (en)

  • Byly identifikovány konzervované jaderné exportní sekvence (NES) v alfa- i beta-tubulinu. (cs)
  • Nuclear export sequences in alpha- and beta-tubulin were tested in animal and plant model system. Functional NES were mutated. The expression of mutated beta-tubulin affected the cell cycle progress in tobacco cells. The inhibition of nuclear export resulted in tubulin accumulation in tobacco nuclei. (en)
