Description
  • The goal of this project is to measure the ultra-high energy cosmic rays. A new knowledge will be gathered about their intensity and energy spectrum, about the isotropy and possible sources and about chemical composition. The development of the technology of light mirror production will continue. (en)
  • Cílem projektu je měřit kosmické záření s extrémní energií v rámci mezinárodního uskupení %22The Pierre Auger Observatory%22. Budou získány nové poznatky o intenzitě a spektru záření, o jeho izotropii, jeho zdrojích a o jeho složení. Bude pokračovat vývoj technologie realizace tzv. ultralehkých zrcadel.

  • The project Pierre Auger Observatory is studying characteristics of cosmic rays with so far highest observed energy (new telescope for FD, Ph.D. student activities a.t.c.). The project MŠMT INGO II No. LG11044 solved also the monitoring of night sky – its light field and cloud amounts. There were designed and manufactured cameras now installed on seven places of the world. (en)
  • Projekt Observatoř Pierra Augera studuje vlastností kosmického záření při nejvyšších dosud pozorovaných energiích (nové tepelskopy pro FD, kalibrace FD, výchova Ph.D. studentů aj.). Projekt MŠMT INGO II č. LG11044 řešil také problematiku monitoringu světelného pozadí noční oblohy a oblačnosti. Byly navrženy a zhotoveny kamery, které jsou instalovány na sedmi místech po světě.
