Description	This project proposes to carry out a detailed analysis and assessment of a skeleton barrow ground in Stěbořice, Silesia. It thus presents an opportunity to solve important issues concerning the Great Moravian intervention in the region north of the Moravian Gate and, consequently, also in Silesia and Small Poland. The excavations of the last decade in particular provide evidence of the gradually growing influence Great Moravia exercised in said territory, be it in the form of a direct intervention or peaceful contacts and gradual acculturation. The project will clarify a number of issues regarding burial practices, and will enable a better understanding of the studied region during the period of its entering the historic scene and its assumed joining of the framework of the Great Moravian state. (en) Projekt na základě podrobného rozboru a zhodnocení kostrového mohylníku ve slezských Stěbořicích nabízí možnost řešit zásadní otázky, týkající se velkomoravského zásahu do prostoru severně od Moravské brány, tedy i do Slezska a Malopolska. Zvláště odkryvy v posledním decenniu vcelku jednoznačně hovoří o postupném narůstání vlivu Velké Moravy na uvedeném teritoriu, ať už si jej představíme jako přímou intervenci anebo doklad pokojných styků a pozvolné akulturace. Projekt odpoví na řadu problémů souvisejících s vlastním pohřbíváním a zároveň umožní lépe pochopit úlohu sledovaného území v době jeho vstupu na historickou scénu a předpokládaného začlenění do rámce velkomoravského státu.
