Description
  • The adult ovary contains hundreds of eggs, but they are held in an immature state until ovulation. Failure to ovulate - ot to ovulate normally - is still the most common cause of female infertility. Ovulation recurring every midcycle of the mammalian female and triggered by a surge of luteinizing hormone released from pituitary is an essential prerequisite for fertilization and subsequent embryonic development. Here we shall describe two of the biological components of the ovulatory response, cumulusexpansion and hyaluronic acid synthesis, both crucial for release of a fertilizable ovum. In addition, secretion of paractine factors enabling expansion of cumulus cells will be assissed. The present study is using a unique biomedical model, the middle -size and preovulatory pig follicles, to add new data to the above - mentioned problem. (en)
  • Vzájemná souhra mezi oocytem a granulózními buňkami je nezbytným předpokladem pro vznik plně kompetentních oocytů jak ve smyslu jejich oplození, tak následného embryonálního vývoje. Protože podstatná část ženské sterility je způsobena neadekvátní tvorbou parakrinních intrafolikulárních regulátorů, naše experimenty budou orientovány na faktory zodpovědné za expanzi kumula a diferenciaci granulózních buněk. Protože, CEEF - faktor zodpovědný za expanzi je sekretovaný buď oocyty nebo granulózními buňkami do média, kondiciovaná média budou použita pro biochemickou charakteristiku sekretovaných proteinů pomocí hmotností spektrometrie.
