Description	The intention of the grant project is to ensure the participation of the respective Czech institutions in the international project %22Passive Seismic Experiment in the Trans-European Suture Zone%22 (PASSEQ), the main aim of which is the recognition of the lithosphere-asthenosphere system in the transition between the Proterozoic and Phanerozoic Europe. The grant project will deal with studies of surface wave propagation on the whole selected area. Emphasis will be put on studies of surface wave dispersion in a broad frequency band along selected profiles, to surface wave tomography and their applications in studies of the crustal and upper mantle structure. For this purpose, methods of frequency-time analysis, matrix methods in the theory of surface waves and respective inverse problems will be developed as well. Special attention will be paid to possibilities of studying the so-called low-velocity channels by means of surface waves. (en) Záměrem projektu je zajištění účasti příslušných českých pracovišť na mezinárodním projektu %22Pasivní seismický experiment v oblasti transevropského švu - PASSEQ%22, jehož hlavním cílem je studium soustavy litosféry a astenosféry na přechodu mezi paleozoickou a fanerozoickou částí Evropy. Navrhovaný grantový projekt se bude zabývat studiem šíření povrchových seismických vln na celém studovaném území. Důraz bude kladen na studium disperze povrchových vln v širokém oboru period na vybraných profilech, na tomografii pomocí povrchových vln a jejich využití ke studium stavby zemské kůry a svrchního pláště. K tomu účelu budou rovněž rozvíjeny metody frekvenčně-časové analýzy seismogramů, maticové metody v teorii povrchových vln a řešení příslušných obrácených úloh. Zvláštní pozornost bude věnována možnostem studia tzv. kanálů nízkých rychlostí pomocí povrchových vln.
