Description	Entangled two-photon states generated in the process of spontaneous parametric down-conversion are studied in the project. These highly nonclassical states will be generated both in nonlinear crystals and in modern nonlinear structures like photonic band-gap structures. Intensity of the generated beams in transverse profile as well as their entangled properties will be measured. Interferometers like Hong-Ou-Mandel interferometer will be used to measure temporal quantum correlations, whereas a single-photon CCD camera will be applied for determining spatial properties. The camera also provides photon-number distribution of the generated photons. As soon as experimental techniques for the measurement of the mentioned properties are managed, theoretical and experimental study of the generation of states with defined properties (spectral widths, spatial distribution of intensity, width of entanglement area, etc.) will follow. (en) Projekt je zaměřen na studium kvantově korelovaných fotonových párů generovaných v procesu spontánní sestupné parametrické frekvenční konverze. Budeme studovat generaci těchto vysoce neklasických stavů jak v nelineárních krystalech tak i moderních nelineárních strukturách jako jsou fotonické struktury se zakázaným pásem. Budeme měřit jak intenzity generovaných svazků v příčném profilu tak i jejich kvantově korelované vlastnosti. V časové oblasti budeme tyto korelace proměřovat pomocí interferometrů typu Hongova-Ouova-Mandelova interferometru, v prostorové oblasti pomocí jednofotonové CCD kamery. Kamera také poskytne informace o fotopulzním rozdělení generovaných fotonů. Po zvládnutí experimentálních technik pro měření uvedených vlastností se zaměříme na teoretické i experimentální studium generace stavů s požadovanými vlastnostmi (šířka spektra, prostorové rozložení intenzity, velikost kvantově korelované plochy, atd.).
