Description	The project will be concentrated on the study and analysis of the ethnic stereotypes in the reflection of Gypsy and Jewish ethnic group membres in the folklore of Czech countries. Attention will be paid most of all to one of the folklore genres - the folk song. In further stages will be traced this phenomenon in other folklore genres as well. The project represents a pendant to a similar task that is being treated on Slovak material in the Institute of Ethnology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. The theme tends to supplement the research into ethnic stereotypes in this case heterostereotypes in Central Europe. This study offers the opportunity to extend the knowledge of the life of the Gypsies and Jews as it is depicted in the texts of folk songs. It can provide information on the character of their coexistence with the majority society and indicate the relation of this society to the Gypsy and Jewish group. (en) Projekt se soustředí na studium a analýzu etnických stereotypů v zobrazení Romů a Židů v lidových písních v českých zemích. Pozornost bude věnována především jednomu folklórnímu žánru - lidové písni. V další etapě bude tato otázka sledována i v jiných folklórních projevech. Projekt tvoří pendant obdobnému úkolu zpracovanému na slovenském materiálu, a to v Národopisném ústavu SAV v Bratislavě. Jde o téma, které směřuje k doplnění výzkumu etnických stereotypů, v tomto případě heterostereotypů ve středníEvropě. Toto studium nabízí možnosti rozšíření poznatků o životě Romů a Židů, jak je zachycují texty lidových písní. Zejména však může přinést zjištění o charakteru jejich soužití s majoritní společností a naznačit vztah této společnosti k romské a židovské etnické skupině.
