Description	The project is methodologically situated into the sphere in-between literary theory and comparative literature. It is based on an attempt to import and develop internationally coined methods and approaches of literary anthropology into the Czech context, with the focus put on the analyses of the phenomena of the factual and factuality inside of the context of literary representations. The project’s interdisciplinary dimension reaches deliberately into the context of cultural anthropology and philosophy. The analysis proposes the concept of factuality as a tactile metaphor of knowledge and narration that will be used to specify and analyze the relationships between language, human corporality (bodily habitus), and factuality. The project aims to specify and define the key terminological notions and to expose them to the material analysis of their representations in literature, choosing the core of the literary materila in the sphere of Central European modernism and the so called postmodernism. Special analytical attention will be paid to the topics that seem to concentrate the notions of „factuality“: melancholy, human corporality and factuality of the context of the Baroque art and culture and later evocations of this context. The theme of the project involves also the notions of private and collective cultural memories and the role factuality plays in their constitutions. The key output of the project should be a monograph in a book form. (en) Projekt je situován na pomezí literární teorie a komparatistiky. Pokouší se do českého prostředí implementovat metodologii literární antropologie, z jejíž perspektivy analyzuje fenomén věcí a věcnosti v kontextu literárních reprezentací. Programově rozvíjí interdisciplinární přesahy směrem ke kulturní antropologii a filosofii (zejména fenomenologii a filosofii jazyka). Analýza se zaměří na věci jako taktilní metafory vědění a vyprávění, na vztah mezi jazykem, lidskou tělesností a věcností. V návaznosti na tyto systematizující reflexe založené na vymezení klíčových pojmů a extenzivním popisu literárních reprezentací (materiálové východisko představuje především literatura středoevropského modernismu a tzv. postmoderny) se pozornost zacílí na témata, v nichž se problematika věcnosti zvláštním způsobem koncentruje: melancholii, tělesnost a věcnost v kontextu barokní kultury a jejích ohlasů. K dalším tématům projektu patří problematika osobní a kulturní paměti, též role literární věcnosti při jejím konstituování. Výstupy bádání následně shrne monografie.
