Description	The aim of this project is a study of UHT lower crustal granulites in the Bohemian Massif on the example of granulite massifs at the south-eastern margin of the Moldanubian domain (Lower Austria) to clarify their magmatic/metamorphic origin and the timing of the involved processes. P-T evolution of individual magmatic/metamorphic events will be determined by their textural and petrological study in combination with thermodynamic modelling. Special attention will be paid to accessory zicon and rutile and their textural position. They can provide information about temperature of their formation and in situ dating of zircons with different temperature may distinguish the age of magmatic and metamorphic processes. Next objective is the study of exhumation mechanisms of the granulites from the lower orogenic crust by combined structural mapping, petrology and pseudosection modelling that determines depth of individual structure formation. Microstructural study of the granulites will help to understand rheology of the lower crust during exhumation. This study is a part of a research of the eastern margin of the Bohemian Massif recently contributing to the modern understanding of mechanisms of hot orogenic root formation and exhumation of the lower crust. (en) Cílem projektu je studie UHT spodněkorových granulitů v Českém masivu na příkladu granulitových masivů jihovýchodního okraje moldanubika v Dolním Rakousku za účelem objasnění jejich magmatického/metamorfního původu a načasování probíhajících procesů. P-T vývoj jednotlivých magmatických/metamorfních událostí bude určen pomocí texturní a petrologické studie v kombinaci s termodynamickým modelováním. Zvláštní pozornost bude věnována akcesoriím zirkonu a rutilu a jejich texturní pozici. Mohou poskytnout informace o teplotě jejich vzniku a in situ datování zirkonů s různou teplotou může odlišit věk magmatických a metamorfních procesů. Dalším záměrem je studium exhumačních mechanismů granulitů ze spodní orogenní kůry kombinací strukturního mapování, petrologie a modelování pseudosekcí, které určí hloubku vzniku jednotlivých struktur. Mikrostrukturní studie granulitů pomůže porozumět reologii spodní kůry při exhumaci. Tato studie je součástí výzkumu východního okraje Českého masivu, který v současnosti přispívá k modernímu pohledu na mechanismy vzniku horkých orogenních kořenů a exhumace spodní kůry.
