Description	Projekt analyzuje význam současných islámských staveb v Německu, Rakousku a Švýcarsku nejen pro většinovou společnost, ale i pro zde žijící muslimy. Řešení architektury mešit, kulturních center a hřbitovů spoluvytváří konstrukci veřejného prostoru. Pro obě strany je architektura těchto staveb a komplexu budov dokladem komplikovaného integračního procesu. Volba forem staveb inspirovaných kulturním zázemím přistěhovalců či současnými obecnými trendy v architektuře vyjadřují míru integrace muslimských komunit do západních společností. Důležitou součástí je otázka uchovaní či proměny identity evropských muslimů. Pro vystižení tohoto jevu je potřebné zkoumat motivy zadavatelů staveb (muslimských organizací), ale i argumentaci institucí, které se k budovaní mešit, kulturních center a hřbitovů vyjadřují. Analýza konkrétních případů ze zahraničí pomůže popsat procesy, které budou součástí integrace muslimu v České republice. The project analyzes the importance of contemporary Islamic buildings in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland, not only for the majority, but also for Muslims living there. The architectural design of mosques,centers and cemeteries participates in construction of public space. For both sides, the architecture of these buildings and building complexes illustrates a complicated integration process. The choice of forms of buildings inspired by the cultural background of immigrants or the current general trends in architecture expresses the level of integration of Muslim communities into Western societies. An important part is question of preservation and transformation of the European Muslims' identity. To describe this phenomenon the motives of buildings' sponsors (organizations) are needed to be examined as well as the argumentation of institutions which join the discussion of mosques, cultural centers and cemeteries development. Analysis of some specic foreign cases will help to specify the processes that may be part of the integration of Muslims in the Czech Republic in the future. (en)
