Description	Core of the project is creation of a database of all relevant data which can be obtained from conscription sheets of Prague inhabitants between 1850–1918. Next, analysis and statistic evaluation will follow. Acquired data will be summarised in the form of a report. Thus a complex socially-demographic image of Prague aglomeration inhabitants will be created. At the same time, it will enable to follow the transformation of this image in the course of half a century. Uniqueness and extent of the source and the effective way of its procession – open database with high variability of queries – will allow a new, so far unused, detailed description of the society and its phenomena. Research of such extent, unprecedented in the Czech Republic, will substantially assist in gaining the knowledge of this kind. The project will result in a large electronic database streaming into historic and demographic research. The results of the project will be published. (en) Podstatou projektu je vytvoření databáze veškerých relevantních údajů, jež je možné získat z pobytových přihlášek obyvatel Prahy z let 1850–1918. Následovat bude analýza a statistické vyhodnocení dat. Získané poznatky budou syntetizovány ve formě studie. Vznikne komplexní sociálně demografický obraz obyvatelstva pražské aglomerace. Zároveň bude možné sledovat transformace tohoto obrazu v horizontu půl století. Ojedinělost a rozsah pramene a efektivní způsob jeho zpracování – otevřená databáze s vysokou variabilitou dotazování – umožní nový, dosud neaplikovaný, detailní popis společnosti a jejích fenoménů. Výzkum tohoto rozsahu, který nemá dosud v ČR obdoby, bude významným příspěvkem pro poznání této problematiky. Výsledkem projektu bude rozsáhlá elektronická databáze, na jejímž podkladě bude proveden historicko demografický výzkum. Výsledky tohoto výzkumu budou publikovány.
