Description	The Vietnamese ethnic group has been developing since 1956. It belongs to the most numerous modern immigratory groups. The research concerns the preservation of ethnic particularity both in the family and in the gradual integrative attempt at business activities. Thus, it describes two antagonistic trends : 1. the enduring ethnic isolation toward the majority population, 2. the necessity of open practicable communication in the sphere of enterprise. The result of the ethnologic research will be a manuscript. Besides the two trends, the work also analyses the migratory movement of the Vietnamese ethnic group between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, and outlines the prognosis of the development of the Vietnamese ethnic group in the Czech Republic after the year 2001 in the domains of the way of life of this community and of its relations with the majority. (en) Vietnamské etnikum v České republice se formuje od r. 1956. Patří zde k nejpočetnějším novodobým imigračním skupinám. Výzkum sleduje uchovávání etnické specifiky především v rodinném životě a zároveň postupující integrační snahy v podnikatelských aktivitách. Zachycuje tak dvě protichůdné tendence : +. přetrvávající etnickou a společenskou izolaci vůči většinovému obyvatelstvu, 2. nutnost otevřené praktické komunikace v oblasti podnikání. Výsledkem etnologického výzkumu bude rukopis práce analyzující vedle těchto tendencí také migrační pohyby vietnamského etnika mezi Vietnamem a českými zeměmi a nastiňující prognózu vývoje vietnamského etnika v České republice po roce 2001 v oblasti způsobu života této komunity a jejího vztahu s majoritou
