Description	History of the Czech and Western economic thought is one of the key fields of economic theory that the Institute of Economic Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University follows systematically in research and teaching. Presented research project is formulated as another important contribution to understanding the evolution and results of the transformation of the Czech society and economy after 1989. Research activities will concentrate on the roots of the Czech reform thinking as the reaction to the Western economic theories and original development of the Czech economic thought. We aim at presenting a complex, systematic overview, critical analysis and evaluation of all accessible sources of memories of contemporaries, personal archives, and published literature of home and exile economists. The results will be published in the form of scientific papers and a voluminous %22source%22 book. (en) Jedním z klíčových směrů vědeckovýzkumné činnosti na UK FSV jsou dějiny ekonomického myšlení v národním i světovém měřítku. Tento grant je koncipován jako další důležitý příspěvek k pochopení průběhu a výsledků transformace české společnosti po r. 1989, předmětem výzkumu jsou kořeny reformního myšlení jako odraz i samostatné rozvíjení světové ekonomie. Cílem výzkumu bude podat co nejúplnější přehled, kritickou analýzu, interpretaci a zhodnocení všech dostupných zdrojů od vzpomínek pamětníků, přes soukromé archivy až po publikovanou literaturu domácích i exilových ekonomů. Kromě statí v recenzovaných časopisech a vystoupeních na domácích i zahraničních konferencích je plánováno vydání knižní publikace o rozsahu 40 AA.
