Description	The aim of the project is to study sporadic meteors and less active meteor showers using the double station video experiment. The automatic instrumentation, which will be able to observe night sky every night, will be developed within the project using commercial-off-the-shelf components. Simultaneously the methods of data recording, processing and storing will be prepared. On the bases of recorded data the physical properties of the meteoroids belonging to the different populations of the sporadic background will be studied. We will be especially interested in the atmospheric trajectories, light curves and internal structure of the meteoroids. Moreover the sporadic meteors activity will be monitored round the year and the results compared with earlier data obtained by different techniques. When selected weak meteor showers will be active, the experiment will aim on their study. Beside the structure of the meteoroids also activity profile of the shower will be monitored. (en) Cílem projektu je studium sporadických meteorů a méně aktivních meteorických rojů prostřednictvím dvojstaničního video pozorování. Za tímto účelem bude vyvinuta automatická aparatura, která bude v případě příznivých povětrnostních podmínek každou noc sledovat noční oblohu. Zároveň budou připraveny metody automatického záznamu dat, jejich zpracování a archivace v podobě databáze. Na základě získaných dat budou studovány fyzikální vlastnosti meteoroidů patřících k různým populacím sporadických meteorů, zvláště pak jejich atmosférické dráhy, světelné křivky a vnitřní struktura meteoroidů. Bude rovněž monitorována aktivita sporadických meteorů během roku a získané výsledky srovnány s dřívějšími studiemi provedenými odlišnými pozorovacími technikami. V době činnosti vybraných slabších meteorických rojů bude experiment zaměřen na jejich studium. Kromě jejich složení bude rovněž sledována také aktivita příslušného meteorického roje.

Výstupy byly publikovány v rámci 6 článků v impaktových časopisech, 4 recenzovaných prací a 15 sborníkových příspěvků. Projekt nevykazoval nedostatky v dodržování pravidel. Celkově panel projekt hodnotí cíle projektu coby splněné, byť došlo k určité modifikaci priorit oproti původnímu plánu. (cs) The project brings new findings in the study of meteors and contributes to extension of current methodology. The outputs were published in 6 impact journal articles, 4 refereed works, and 15 proceeding contributions. The project was carried out in compliance with the grant rules. Although the PI made modifications of priorities compared to the proposal, the project was evaluated as accomplished. (en)
