Description	The aim of the research program is to review the experiences obtaiened by extinguishing of fires of the cultural objects in the EU countries (Great Britain, Germany, Norway, poland etc.) and the USA. Equally will be reviewed the fire extinguishing systems and smoke detection systems, which were used in new museums and galleries in the countries mentioned. In detailed will be judged the advantages and the disadvantages of extinguishing systems working in museums and galleries with sprinklers, water mist, inert gases (INERGEN, nitrogen) and finally with halocarbon agents (FM-200, Novec 1230) in museums conditions. Chemical analysis and mock-up fire extinguishing experiments focused on an explaination of their efficiency and affect on collections objects will be carried out too. (en) V rámci projektu bude uskutečnen rozbor získaných zkušeností při hašení požárů objektů kulturního dědictví v zemích EU (Anglie, Německo, Norsko, Polsko apod.) a USA. Bude provedena analýza systémů EPS a SHZ, které byly použity v nově budovaných muzeích a galeriích ve zmíněných zemích. Podrobně budou posouzeny výhody a nevýhody uvedených systémů pracující s vodními sprinklery, vodní mlhou a plynnými hasivy (INERGEN, dusík) a halonovými alternativami (FM-200, Novec 1230) v podmínkách muzeí a galerií. Budou provedeny též vybrané chemické analýzy a požární zkoušky s cílem prověřit jejich účinnost a vliv na sbírkové předměty.
