Description
| - The project will develop the knowledge obtained in succesful previous aimed research focused on describing the effects of unsaturated fatty acids and components of phospholipid metabolism in a way enabling publication in renowned journals. Mechanisms of the effects of these substances and lipid emulsions in cell signalling regulating proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and physiological cell functions will be studied in models comprising normal and malignant cells of the haemopoietic and immune system, hepatic and intestinal epithelial cells both in vitro and in vivo. A wide spectrum of modern methods of molecular biology, and, further e.g., confocal microscopy, multiparametric flow-cytometry, and transplantation techniques In a tight cooperation of the applicant and INFUSIA, Hořátev, new data important from the point of view of innovations of infusion solutions having the perspective of applicability at specific diagnoses (disease specific nutrition) will be obtained. - Bude navázáno na dřívější úspěšné grantové aplikace z oblasti cíleného výzkumu zaměřeného na poznání účinků nenasycených mastných kyselin a složek fosfolipidového metabolismu. Výsledky budou publikovány v renomovaných časopisech. Na modelech, zahrnujících normální i nádorové buňky krvetvorného a imunitního systému, buňky jater a střevních epitelů jak in vitro tak in vivo, budou studovány mechanismy působení výše uvedených látek (později i vzorků emulzí) na signální dráhy regulující proliferaci, diferenciaci, apoptózu a základní fyziologické buněčné funkce. Bude využita škála moderních metodik molekulární biologie (a další metody jako konfokální mikroskopie, multiparametrická flow cytometrie, transplatační metody apod.). V těsné kooperaci tří laboratoří BFÚ AVČR v Brně a INFUSIA a.s., Hořátev bude cílem získat poznatky důležité pro inovace infusních roztoků a perspektivně aplikovatelné u specifických diagnóz (disease specific nutrition).
