The aim of the proposed project is the brain localization of several types of spatial navigation in a real space environment. The project will focus on the types of spatial navigation that are difficult to study in virtual environments and therefore also difficult to localize using functional imaging methods. These types of navigation include navigation using subject's position, navigation without vision and navigation in dissociated reference frames. The aim of the project will be solved in three consecutive parts. In the first part we will form a set of tasks focused on the above mentioned types of spatial navigation. In the second part we will use this set of tasks to study spatial navigation impairment in patients with focal brain lesions. In the third part we will apply the set of tasks to extending mild cognitive impairment classification. The project will contribute to the basic research of human spatial navigation, specification of its functions and brain substrate, as well as to the clinical research on the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. Cílem předkládaného projektu je mozková lokalizace několika typů prostorové navigace a to pomocí vyšetření pacientů s fokálními mozkovými lézemi a mírnou kognitivní poruchou. Projekt přispěje k základnímu výzkumu prostorové navigace a ke klinickému výzkumu neurodegenerativních poruch.
